Anastassios Valtoudis is a Professor of Civil Law at the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Lawyer appointed to the Supreme Court (Areios Pagos), Arbitrator of EODID (Athens Mediation and Arbitration Organization), of ODEE (Arbitration and Mediation Center of the German-Hellenic Chamber of Industry and Commerce), ex- Arbitrator of Egnatia Odos SA, Legal Counsel of a Greek systemic bank, of a mining company, of a conglomerate of hotels, of a convent, as well as of other companies and persons.

He has stood for numerous cases before arbitral and civil courts of all instances. He is also the Associate of Civil Law in legal magazine Elliniki Dikaiosini, Associate of other magazines of Civil Law, Member of the Research Institute of the Faculty of Law of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki for Transparency, Corruption and Financial Crime, Cashier of the Βoard of the Pan-hellenic Association of Civil Law Scientists (2020-2023), Member of the Βoard of the Pan-hellenic Association of Civil Law Scientists (2014-2017) and Member of scientific associations, while he has served as a member of various law drafting Committees.

He was and still remains a teaching Professor of Law of Obligations at the National School of Judges for 10 years now and for 25 years at the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

He has written four (4) monographs on Law of Obligations (regarding the  liability of the producer of defective goods, the sales of enterprises, the work contracts, as well as the unjust enrichment in trilateral relations, especially those of banking law), Commentaries on Law of Obligations and numerous Studies, Legal Opinions and Remarks on judiciary related to specialized matters of Law of Obligations and Banking Law, of Civil and International Civil Procedure Law as well as of the Methodology of Law.

He speaks Greek, English and German.
